These terms govern your use of the editvideowithai.com website, its API and MCP endpoints, and the editfork command line tool (together, the "Service"), operated by [FULL NAME] ("we", "us"). By using the Service you accept these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this address. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the Service; you can request removal of your published content at any time.

EditVideoWithAI is a public directory of "skills": reusable, human-readable instructions for editing video with AI agents. Creators publish skills via the CLI together with a link to a video they published on an external platform. Anyone can read skills on the website, install them via the CLI, or fetch them through the MCP endpoint. Skills are ranked by usage (runs and reported results), not by votes, and MCP responses never contain sponsored results.

The Service never hosts video files. Videos are embedded from or linked to their original platform and remain subject to that platform's terms.

The Service is currently free of charge and provided without any guaranteed availability, features, or support. We may change or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

You keep all rights to the skills you publish. By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your skill, handle, and linked metadata through the Service (website, API, MCP), and you grant every user of the Service the right to run your skill on their own material, including for commercial work.

When you publish, you confirm that:

• the skill is your work, or you have the rights to publish it,
• the linked video is your own publication and demonstrates the skill,
• the skill contains no material that infringes third-party rights, and no personal data of others.

We may remove published content that violates these terms or applicable law, and we may correct metadata (such as slugs or categories) for consistency.

Skills are instructions that AI agents execute. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to publish or distribute through the Service:

• skills designed to harm the person running them, including instructions that delete or exfiltrate data, install malware, leak credentials or secrets, or manipulate the executing agent into actions unrelated to video editing (prompt injection),
• illegal content or instructions to commit illegal acts,
• hateful, harassing, or pornographic content, in skills or in linked videos,
• content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.

It is also prohibited to:

• artificially inflate run counts, results, or rankings by automated or repeated fetching,
• impersonate another person or creator,
• disrupt or overload the Service, or attempt to access data that is not publicly exposed.

We may remove content and block access for violations, without prior notice where necessary.

Skills are user-generated content. They run on your machine, executed by your own AI agent, with your tools and your footage. We do not review, test, or verify skills, and run counts or "worked" reports are no guarantee that a skill is safe or fit for your purpose.

Review a skill before you let an agent execute it, and use appropriate safeguards (backups, sandboxing, agent permission prompts). You are responsible for what your agent does on your system.

We claim no ownership of your skills. The Service itself, including its design, code, name, and logo, belongs to us; published skill content belongs to its creators. You may not scrape the Service wholesale to build a competing directory; fetching individual skills through the documented API and MCP endpoints is what they are for and is expressly welcome.

The Service is provided free of charge and "as is". We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place), and only up to the damage that was foreseeable and typical at the time of use. Any further liability is excluded, in particular for damage caused by executing user-generated skills, for content of linked external platforms, and for data loss that could have been avoided by reasonable backups.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
